[Shafaq News] Security sources reported on Sunday clashes between the Turkish military forces and militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party on the slopes of Mount Matin.
The sources informed Shafaq News Agency that the clashes took place near the Qadesh complex, north of Duhok, at the foot of Mount Matin, without specifying further details.

[Rudaw] The Ottoman Turkish defense ministry on Friday said its air forces targeted 17 alleged positions of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the northern Kurdistan Region where local officials confirmed the strikes.
Ottoman Turkish air forces hit 17 caves, shelters and ammunition depots allegedly used by the PKK in the Gara, Khakurk and Qandil regions, the ministry said in a statement late on Friday.

Nahro Abdullah, mayor of Sangasar subdistrict near Mount Qandil, told Rudaw that the outskirts of five villages in the area were hit in the aerial raids. He did not have information about potential material losses or casualties.
PKK media also reported the attacks, saying that the losses were not clear yet.
