| #6 Haven't been up that way (pretty white-ish, RINO-ish county) but everywhere I have been in CA I've been amazed at the bovine nonchalance with which a sizeable minority of folks will sign any petition put in front of them. Mesmerizing glare and third eye tattoo would just shift the categories around a bit. |

| #3 As someone who attended numerous school board meetings in my capacity as a reporter, I can confirm school boards are a dumping ground for people who could not get elected as dog-catcher or garbage commission member. |
