[Regnum] IDF fighters attacked targets of the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah. This was reported on October 22 in the Telegram channel of the Israeli military department.
The Israelis carried out air strikes on Hezbollah's military infrastructure and surveillance equipment in response to shelling from Lebanon.
Several Lebanese drones were also shot down by air defenses.
As Regnum reported, the Saraya al-Quds (Companies of Jerusalem) group, the military wing of the radical Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced the death of an Israeli hostage held in the Gaza Strip.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip since the start of Israeli strikes has exceeded 14 thousand, and more than 33 thousand people have been injured.
The foreign ministers of seven states have created a contact group on Gaza and intend to visit Moscow as part of a diplomatic tour.

The state-run National News Agency reports "the death of three citizens — two journalists and another civilian — in enemy bombing" of the Tair Harfa area. al-Mayadeen says its "correspondent Farah Omar and cameraman Rabih Maamari were killed by an Israeli attack."
The IDF has said it struck Hezbollah targets, including missile launching squads and other military sites. It has not commented on the Lebanese claims so far.
