Netanyahu summons Israeli war cabinet as signs grow of a hostage deal, cabinet votes to approve
2023-11-22
[GEO.TV] With the corpse count in Israeli aggression on Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
surpassing the 14,000 mark — including around 6,000 children — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has summoned his war cabinet amid growing signs of an imminent deal on the release of hostages.

"We are making progress. I don't think it's worth saying too much, not at even this moment, but I hope there will be good news soon," Netanyahu told reservists without providing further details.

Two far-right members of Netanyahu's government said they would vote against the deal when the full cabinet meets at 8pm (1800 GMT), though they were not expected to tip the vote.

...As part of the hostage deal Israel would release three Palestinian prisoners held in Israel for each Israeli hostage released by Hamas.

In the first phase of the two-phase deal, Hamas is expected to release 50 Israeli women and children held in Gaza, while Israel is expected to release around 150 Palestinian prisoners, mostly women and minors.

The release of hostages and prisoners in the first phase of the deal would take place over four days of ceasefire in Gaza.

As part of the deal, Israel would allow around 300 aid trucks per day to enter Gaza from Egypt.

In a second phase, Hamas could release up to another 50 Israeli hostages — women, children and elderly people — in return for extending the ceasefire by several more days.

Israel would also release Palestinian prisoners at the same 3:1 ratio to the number of hostages freed.

Cabinet approves deal for release of 50 hostages in exchange for multi-day ceasefire

[IsraelTimes] Israel believes Hamas could potentially locate some 30 more mothers and children and that the 4-day halt could be extended by extra day per each 10 Israeli hostages freed.

#2  I'll say it again: Right after 9/11, some imam said "there are no civilians" in the jihad struggle thingee.

Let's make them all live by that.

#1  Interesting that 'people' seem to accept as fact that Israel is killing almost entirely innocent civilians, despite having some of world's most accurate munitions and operating at very short range. Logically one should think either these civilians are not civilians, or are not actually hit, or are only hit because they are being used as human shields (or a combination of all three.)
