The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repulse enemy attacksIn the zone of responsibility of the OSGV "Tavria" in the Avdeevsky direction, the enemy does not abandon attempts to break through the defense, but to no avail.
Quote from the head of the Avdeevka city military administration: “In Avdeevka, the night was very hot. There were several air missile strikes on the city itself. They didn’t even count the positions - there were a lot of them, hundreds of attacks on positions. Dozens per night on the city itself. The assaults do not stop neither day nor night - they crawl like cockroaches, a lot."
According to him, the Russians are trying to encircle the city, so the main attacks are concentrated on the flanks from the north and south, but Ukrainian fighters “stay invariably in their positions.” The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled more than 20 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Lastochkino, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye in the Donetsk region.
General Staff : In the evening report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that in total, 68 clashes occurred at the front during the day. “In the Avdeevka direction, our defenders courageously hold the line, repulsed 10 enemy attacks in the area of the village of Avdeevka and more than 15 attacks in the Keramika, Tonenky, Pivnichny, Pervomaisky, Netaylovy districts of the Donetsk region,” the command noted. In addition, it is reported that Ukrainian defenders “destroyed the Russian Su-25 attack aircraft and the Orlan-10 operational-tactical UAV.” The missile force units inflicted defeats on the control point, the area where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, an ammunition depot and enemy electronic warfare stations.
