"Yesterday, thank God, people have some instinct of self-preservation... Yesterday there were no injured or dead, most likely they just heard what was happening around the city since night, and that's why they didn't go out," said Barabash.
However, today, as a result of shelling, one 38-year-old man was killed and one 79-year-old wounded. A 35-year-old woman was also injured. There may be two people, a man and an elderly woman, under the rubble after the airstrike.
We will remind you that Avdiivka was hit by artillery and tank fire yesterday. There were no casualties.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russians with forces of up to three battalions, supported by tanks and armored vehicles, intensified offensive actions in the Avdiivka, Tonenko, and Keramik districts of the Donetsk region.
However, our defenders repelled all attacks and prevented the loss of boundaries and positions . The spokesman of the General Staff, Andriy Kovalev, announced this on the air of the telethon.
The offensive operation of the Defense Forces continues in the Bakhmut and Melitopol directions.
"In the direction of Melitopol, the Defense Forces continue the offensive operation and have improved the tactical position in the area west of Robotyny, Zaporizhzhia region," Kovalev said.
The defenders also continue their assault south of Bakhmut. Klishchiivka and Andriivka were more successful to the east.
In the Marinka direction, during the past day, the Defense Forces successfully repelled more than 10 attacks in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka.
On the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy unsuccessfully advanced in the area of ​​Zolotaya Niva and Volodyny.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the defenders are holding back the enemy in the areas of Inzhenerny and Verbovoy.
In the Kupyan direction, defenders repelled more than 30 attacks in the Sinkivka and Ivanivka districts of the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, defenders are holding back a powerful enemy offensive in the Makiivka and Dibrova districts of the Luhansk region.
It will be recalled that 108 combat clashes took place during the past day. Russia also struck civilian houses in Veliky Burluk settlement of Kharkiv region with an anti-aircraft guided missile S-300.
