Poland to halt supply of weapons to Ukraine as grain dispute grows |
2023-09-21 |
Poland has been among Ukraine’s staunchest supporters since the Russian invasion last year and is one of Kyiv’s primary weapons suppliers. Poland also hosts about one million Ukrainian refugees. But Morawiecki appeared to signal on Wednesday that relations were about to change radically. "We are no longer transferring weapons to Ukraine because we are now arming Poland with more modern weapons," the prime minister said on Wednesday, speaking in response to a question from a reporter on whether Warsaw would continue to support Kyiv with weapons despite the dispute over grain exports. The official social media account of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland later shared a local news organisation’s post containing Morawiecki’s comments on ending arms supplies to Ukraine. |

#5 Meaning, 'We gave them all our old stuff, but we will save the new stuff for ourselves." Exactly. They got rid of all their old Soviet era shit on the cheap and need the few they have left to fill in gaps until the rest of the K-2s and Abrams arrive. They still support Ukraine with some aid because they want them to kill as many Russians as possible before Poland might need to start. |

#4 Whelp, Phoenix Arizona seems to want to get into the arms trade with Ukraine, selling them firearms confiscated by police actions, so there is that sweet sweet Fast and Furious pipeline. |
