Turkey claims hitting over 30 PKK targets in Kurdistan Region |

It has also intensified its targeting of Kurdish fighters in northern Syria due to their alleged ties with the PKK. The PKK is an gang that struggles for the increased rights of Kurds in Turkey. It is designated a terrorist organization by Ankara, which has launched numerous operations against the group and its alleged offshoots in the Kurdistan Region and Syria.
