Ice block prices have risen dramatically in recent days, with a kilo of ice costing around 2,000 riyals in Aden and 4,000 riyals in Zinjibar city, the capital of Abayn province.
In a post on the X platform during the past hours, media activist Majed al-Daari denied the claims of the local authorities to reduce the hours of power outages to four hours, affirming that six hours have passed and electricity has not returned to the citizens in Crater.
Al-Daari added that "the tricks of the authorities in Aden by announcing the reduction of hours of power outages are an open attempt to ease the anger of the local uprising in the city."
