| (Bloomberg) -- Russia’s central bank called an extraordinary meeting Tuesday after the ruble crashed through the level of 100 to the dollar for the first time since March of last year as Russia’s war in Ukraine drags on and international sanctions hit trade. |

| #5 Much, if not all, of currency is based on confidence. Why else could the US Fed issue trillions of dollars and not cause inflation? But, our day is coming. It's not if, but when, but it'll be a while yet, most likely. I don't get too wrapped up in this BRICS thing. And gold bugs such as Peter Schiff has been squawking about the end of the dollar for a good 15-20 years. Well, he's still wrong. |
