#8 ^ The city of my birth, but not ever my hometown. I was saying back in the 70s that Pittsburgh would be the last part of the rust belt to accept that the "glory days" were not coming back. The efforts to re-make it as the San Francisco of the east are proceeding apace, just not the way the city boosters intended. And the voters keep voting for it, getting it good and hard and voting for some more. |
