[Regnum] The militants carried out a terrorist attack on August 13 at the Shah Cherakh mosque in Iran. As a result, one person died and eight others were injured, said Yadollah Bueli, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Fars province.“As a result of the incident, one person has been killed and eight others injured or injured so far. All of them were delivered to treatment centers,” he said.
Earlier, the IRNA agency informed that at least four people were killed as a result of the attack. According to the Tasnim agency, two militants tried to enter the territory of the mosque, one of them was detained, and the search for the second continues. Bueli said that law enforcement officers found a firearm in the detained man. Initially, the Iranian media reported four dead, but later officially it became known about one dead.
As reported by IA Regnum, the attack on the Shah Cherakh mosque also took place in October 2022. Three intruders opened fire there. During the attack, 13 people were killed and 45 were injured.

At least seven people were wounded, including two workers at the shrine and two pilgrims, and shops in the area had been closed. State TV said the shrine area had been cordoned off by security forces.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack on the Shah Cheragh shrine, which state news agency IRNA said had been carried out by terrorists.
