#8 $170 k, probably half cash and half benefits, so $85 k after 10-20 years work. So $40+ per hour? Sounds like good pay for the work required. Now if they are doing roofing in Texas in the summer… |

#7 I worked for GM from 2000 until 2007. There was worry, at the time, that the UAW would eventually slather on so many wage and benefit demands that it would crash the company. I left just in time. |
