[News.RU] General Sergei Surovikin is currently on vacation in Rostov, Readovka writes, citing its sources. Earlier, the head of the Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov reported that the commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces was resting.
Prior to this, the Public Monitoring Commission (ONC) of Moscow reported that the general was not in Matrosskaya Tishina and Kremlin Central.
Alexey Melnikov, Secretary of the PMC of Moscow, stated that he could not confirm or deny that Surovikin was in the Odintsovo pre-trial detention center , since this is the territory of the PMC of the Moscow region. At the same time, he expressed doubt that Surovikin could be under arrest at all.
