A local source told North Press that "four artillery shells, fired by government forces, targeted positions of the
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...-backed SNA factions on the eastern outskirts of al-Atarib."
He said that the shelling resulted in the injury of "Afrah Blasm and a man in his thirties", adding they were transferred to al-Atlal Hospital in Dana city, north of Idlib.
The source noted that the bombardment also caused damage to the residents’ properties and prompted shops owners to close fearing another round of shelling.
He pointed out that this shelling came in conjunction with a similar government shelling of the villages of al-Bara, Hafasraja, and Majdaliya, in southern Idlib, without any human injuries being reported so far.
