#7  Capt. Tameichi Hara (and others) Japanese Destroyer Captain is a good book. I was fortunate to read it in the 1972 paperbook edition about the same time I found Paul S. Dull's A Battle History of the Imperial Japanese Navy (1941-1945) (the USNI 1978 ed.) both were good reads.

#3  From battle history to exploring the 'why and how' of naval artillery shells Drachinfel's videos can provide hours of both information and entertainment.

#1  ...I cannot recommend Drachinfel's videos highly enough - he knows what he's talking about and he's pretty entertaining in the process.
