#6  My apologies. I was trying to extend the French annual car-ba-que to armored vehicles. It made sense in my twisted mind.

#5  KA-52, which has been performing horribly, actually has been doing a good chunk of the damage. Ukraine lacks a SAM that is short to mid-range. They have MANPADs(short) and Patriot, S300 and the NASAMS which are all in the medium to long range. There is a 5-10km gap in the air defense and the Russians took full advantage of it. The KA-52 can sit right down in that area, above their own lines and launch their anti-tank missiles with impunity.

#4  Arnaque is a French word that means swindle. Is that what you mean? Just curious. Words are interesting.

#3  I just tried a web search for armaque and came up empty. Did you misspell it or is it such an obscure reference that it isn't on the web?
