Suspected Turkish drone injures three Syrian soldiers in Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said a Syrian officer and two other soldiers were maimed after a "~~Ottoman~~ Turkish drone" targeted a tank in northern Aleppo province. The tank was destroyed and the injured members of the Syrian army were taken to a hospital in the nearby Tal Rafaat town.

Neither the Syrian regime nor the ~~Ottoman~~ Turkish government have commented on the attack.

The UK-based war monitor also said that the same drone targeted a nearby town as well but did not cause casualties.

Turkey is the main supporter of Syrian rebels and both have fought the regime and Kurdish forces in the last decade.

Damascus has deployed troops to Syria’s borders with Turkey since 2019 when the ~~Ottoman~~ Turkish invasion of some Kurdish towns in northern Syria led to an agreement between the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Syrian army, allowing the latter to deploy forces to the bordering areas.

Turkey has recently sought reconciliation with the Syrian regime but Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad

has asked Ankara to withdraw all forces from his country as a pre-condition.

Ankara has carried out several military operations against Kurds in Syria and has recently threatened to invade towns like Tal Rifaat.
