[ColonelCassad] State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin called on the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General's Office to investigate the murders of soldiers and officers of the Red Army in Poland in 1919-1921. Such crimes have no statute of limitations.
Not even 10 years have passed. This topic has already surfaced at one time and there were even plans (even under Medinsky) to make a film about the genocide of prisoners in Poland, which Mikhalkov was supposed to shoot, but this did not go beyond chatter. Nothing serious was removed, the memory of the dead was not properly immortalized, political accusations against Poland were not made, but they continued to rush about Katyn like fools with a written sack.
Now we have entered a new circle and in the light of the changed military-political circumstances, there are hopes that a political assessment of the genocide of prisoners of war will be given and more concrete steps will follow with the advancement of official claims against Poland and perpetuating the memory of the victims.
But Katyn still needs to be dealt with.

Speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin: The Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General's Office should conduct a comprehensive investigation into the facts of the execution and torture of Red Army soldiers in Polish camps.
“The leaders of Poland profess the ideology of the dictator Jozef Pilsudski, whose policy was based on hatred of Russia.
During his reign, heinous crimes against humanity were committed in Poland. In 1919-1921, more than 30,000 of our soldiers and commanders were shot and tortured to death. The Polish prison camps were the same as the Nazi ones.
Today, Poland refuses to investigate these crimes... Such bloody crimes have no statute of limitations. We must do everything so that the victims of this tragedy are not forgotten."

Poland does not admit its mistakes and tries to deny the reality of its undeniable crimes against Russia.
The victims of this tragedy must not be forgotten. It is necessary to investigate the circumstances of historical crimes.
During Soviet times, Poland was part of the "socialist camp". And such questions were removed from the agenda. Today we must raise questions concerning historical memory. The time has come when it is necessary to give a legal assessment of their actions and demand the restoration of historical justice.
