Large Weapon and Ammunition Cache Discovered in Afghanistan’s Farah

security forces have found a weapon and ammunition cache in the western province of Farah.

Responding to a tip, GDI personnel began operations in the Farah province on Wednesday and found weapons, including five Kalashnikov rifles, three PK machine guns, two rocket launchers, and thousands of bullets, including 20 mortar shells, according to the statement, which did not specify whether anyone was arrested.

On Tuesday, Afghan cops also discovered and seized weapon caches in the northern Baghlan Province.
