#3 Growing up White Trash, there were always other neighborhoods that were more ghetto. You were never the ghetto, the kids over there across the street, that was the ghetto - and everyone on your block knew it. Very much like Western Liberal Democracies which are never cesspools of positive rights, it is always the other guy that needs better democracy. Western Liberal Democracy thought leaders even play the inversion game with 'positive rights' making them sound so much more altruistic than 'negative rights - which are the rights that keep other peoples feet off your neck. |
