The past week passed under the banner of “non-counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. This does not mean that it does not go, it means that the throw of tank wedges to the east did not happen.
As military experts put it, in modern warfare, “the elephant must be eaten piecemeal,” and such tactics are followed by the enemy. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to implement it in the Artemovsky (Bakhmut) direction, the enemy has achieved extremely unpleasant successes for us. Initial information is being received about problems with the Russian Armed Forces in certain areas of the Svatovsky direction.
Artyomovsk itself is almost taken, it remains to occupy half of the high-rise buildings on the western outskirts of the city. However, taking into account the abandonment of one of the heights, the city is now observed from the dominant neighboring height, recaptured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The reason for the withdrawal of our troops was given by the military correspondents as the unavailability of the reserves (in one of the sections, 1 out of 6 tanks reached the LBS) and the remoteness of the command posts (40 km from the LBS).
At the same time, not all enemy counterattacks were successful. The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not succeed at all in the section of the defense line in the DPR near Mayorsk. The enemy is captured or destroyed.
On the Ugledar sector of the front, artillery duels and battles in the dacha area. The enemy uses cluster munitions.
Zaporizhia front without changes. Mutual shelling additionally stimulates the population to comply with the decision of the Russian authorities in the region to evacuate, however, there is no mass panic, the process is being organized.
The Kherson direction is characterized by the actions of small landing groups of the enemy on the islands (separated by narrow channels) closer to our bank of the Dnieper. The enemy is destroyed, but does not reduce activity. After reports of the delivery of several hundred drones to Kherson, our fighters are more actively shooting down the agro-industrial multicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the effectiveness of enemy fire has also increased.
The enemy uses the HIMARS MLRS and cannon artillery at the same target at the same time. The Russian Armed Forces are also constantly delivering effective strikes on the right bank of the Dnieper. There is a defeat of serious targets, the DIMK of the Ministry of Defense will publish footage in a couple of weeks and report this.
A positive result was the destruction of warehouses in Khmelnitsky and Ternopil with rocket weapons and Geraniums. According to some experts, a large-scale explosion in Khmelnitsky destroyed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of ammunition. Russian aircraft with UPABs and KABs are no less effective.
Shelling and launches of UAVs in the DPR, LPR, Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod regions, Crimea and Sevastopol do not stop.
Thus, the initiative at the front at this stage passed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the exception of a narrow section in Artemovsk, where the Wagner PMC is conducting bloody battles. And Avdievka, where our people continue to put pressure on the fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In other areas, the Russian Army is preparing to repel attacks or is already doing so.
There is no large-scale counteroffensive, but pressure has begun along the entire front line. So far, the situation is under control and there are no serious breakthroughs in our defense ... We are waiting for the main enemy forces to enter - then it will be possible to talk about the start of a full-fledged offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ....

Therefore, I do not know where the Airborne Forces are and who they help. PMC "Wagner" continues to move inside Bakhmut.
