Afghanistan’s Minister of Mines, Turkish Envoy Discuss Investment Opportunities

[KhaamaPress] On Thursday, Shahabuddin Delawar, the acting minister of mines and petroleum, met with Cihad Erginay, the Ottoman Turkish ambassador to Kabul, to discuss various issues, including investment opportunities.

Both sides of the discussion talked about the Afghan-Tajik oil field projects previously contracted with the Ottoman Turkish, said in a statement.

The ministry said that several investment opportunities are available for national and international investors in the country due to the improvement of security in the country.

According to the ministry, efforts are being made to make it possible for both local and foreign, including Ottoman Turkish investors, to take advantage of the opportunities.

The Ottoman Turkish envoy said that Ottoman Turkish businessmen and investors are strongly interested in investing in Afghanistan’s industries and trade, including mining.

Earlier, Ottoman Turkish Ambassador Erginay said the Ottoman Turkish government strives to enhance relations between the international community and the de facto authorities.
