Record one in FOUR high school students say they are gay, bisexual or 'questioning' their sexuality, official CDC data shows ‐ double the amount in 2015

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] *shrug* It’s a fashionable thing to say nowadays. I have niece who claims to be bisexual, though she is now living with the same man who was her boyfriend since eighth grade.

#5  Trending and fashionable, yes. Just because it didn't go well for Nicole Brown Simpson doesn't mean it won't go well for you.

#4  I would too. Sounds like a good idea to tell your school you are at least entertaining the idea of converting, just to get along until you pass out. Imagine the pressure to conform and the non-stop harassment by the fags and mad hatters.

"It's true, Mrs. Shamrock. Jim and I are a couple now! We suck each off in the lavatory every day!"

"I'm so proud of you both."

[Jim and Bob later exclaim...]

"EWWW!"

And then they have a good laugh and no one bothers them again. They have conformed to the new normal.
But that would be like a survival mechanism in such an environment, no?

#3  the CDC doesn't actually have data on this as far as I can tell

what they do have is access to many 'studies' done by Universities, NGOs, education departments and so forth - and many of these studies are 'on line' stuff where people answering are self selected

CDC has amalgamated this to produce the headline

the inclusion of a 'questioning' category adds a ton of additional ambiguity to this 'research'

#2  Wait til they find out "saying" they are gainfully employed and solvent isn't the same as being that way.

#1  Well, their teachers can't tell them what a woman is.
