I suspect if Ukraine launches attacks from Odesa against Sevastopol, the grain deal will be off, punctuated by a Russian missile attack on the port facilities.
[REGNUM] President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, after a telephone conversation on April 26 with Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping , said that the PRC leader supports the further extension of the grain deal.
The Ukrainian head assured that he had told his Chinese colleague about Kyiv's efforts regarding maritime food exports.
"I heard words of support for the Black Sea grain initiative, its continuation," Zelensky said in his Telegram channel.
As REGNUM reported , the leaders of the two countries discussed bilateral relations and the crisis in Ukraine. China is in favor of an early ceasefire.
The situation with the grain deal is not resolved , it has been brought to a standstill by Western countries, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference at the UN on April 25.
