Escaped from arrest in Italy Artyom Uss changed the preventive measure
The son of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss Artyom , who escaped from house arrest in Italy, after returning to Russia, voluntarily appeared in the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was announced on April 4 by the entrepreneur's lawyer Alexei Tikhomirov.
According to the human rights activist, Uss Jr. gave detailed answers to the questions asked on the merits of the case.
"Based on the results of the interrogation, Artyom Aleksandrovich’s preventive measure was changed to a written undertaking not to leave," Tikhomirov specified in an interview with TASS .
As REGNUM reported, at the end of October 2022, the Meshchansky Court of Moscow arrested Artyom Uss in absentia on charges of money laundering on an especially large scale as part of an organized group. The businessman was put on the wanted list. Uss Jr. himself asked to be extradited to Russia.
