The Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems...
(ISIS) grabbed credit for three attacks in 24 hours, two in areas held by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and a third against the Iraqi army in Iraq.

ISIS-run Amaq news agency said in a statement that two ISIS suicide kaboomers targeted with machineguns an SDF headquarters in the al-Nashwa neighborhood in southern Hasakah, northeastern Syria.

The attack resulted in the killing of an SDF fighter and the injury of another, according to Amaq.

On March 31, the General Command of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced deterring an attack by two ISIS suicide attackers who wore the military uniform of the SDF and attempted to infiltrate into an Asayish headquarters in the al-Nashwa neighborhood in Hasakah governorate.

They added that the attack ended in the death of both ISIS attackers. They confiscated two AK-47s, 20 magazines and eight grenades, and two boom belts.

The group said in another statement released by Amaq that ISIS turbans targeted and injured with machineguns an SDF fighter in the town of Diban in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

In Iraq, the group grabbed credit for an attack on a 4DW vehicle of the Iraqi army near the Akashat-Rutba region in the al-Anbar governorate.
