#9 #2 I suspect Bud will not be the number one beer brand next year. This is corporate suicide as I suspect the majority of Bud fans are good ol' boys and ex-military that got used to it because that's what they sold on base.

...Oh, SO much this. Remember when Gillette tried to do it, and got handed their corporate backsides for their trouble - and this was a company that had leaned into its masculine identity for more than a century, and within living memory sponsored professional boxing. (And see Barbasol's hysterically funny reply.)

And keep in mind also that the nice people who make Bud Lite don't care what their drinkers think: Anheuser-Busch hasn't existed as an independent company for some years now; it's owned by a Belgian outfit.
