389 days of large-scale Russian invasion began. Despite the human losses, the Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression.
The main efforts are focused on attempts to completely capture the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. To achieve its goals, it continues offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv, Marin and Shakhtar directions. During the past day, our defenders repelled 83 attacks on this part of the front. The epicenter of hostilities remains Bakhmut, according to a message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook .
Last day, the Russian Federation continued to use terror tactics against the civilian population of Ukraine. By shelling populated areas and critical infrastructure facilities, the enemy completely ignores the laws and customs of war.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 11 missile strikes, four of which hit the objects of Zaporizhzhia's civil infrastructure. Also, 16 airstrikes and 99 attacks from rocket salvo systems by the occupiers were recorded.
The probability of further strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
The operational situation remains stable in the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions. During the day, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka and Klyusy in Chernihiv region, Kharkivka, Starykove, Volfine - Sumy and Chervona Zorya, Veterinarne, Strelecha, Staritsa, Vovchansk and Velikiy Burluk - Kharkiv.
On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy continues to try to break through the defense of our troops. He led unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Kreminna, Dibrova, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne settlements. He carried out artillery shelling of the areas of settlements of Putnykovo, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Hryanikyvka, Kup'yansk, Krokhmalne and Berestov in Kharkiv region, Novoselivske, Nevske and Bilogorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Spirne and Fedorivka in Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, units of the Defense Forces repelled numerous enemy attacks in the northern part of the city of Bakhmut, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, and Bohdanivka. Vasyukivka, Zaliznyanske, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, and North of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
On the Avdiyivsk, Maryinsky, and Shakhtarsky directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, and Maryinka, which the occupiers attacked 15 times. Kamianka, Lastochkine, Avdiivka, Tonenka, Georgiivka, Nevelske, Maryinka, Vugledar and Velika Novosilka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
The enemy is defending in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions . In particular, Olhivske, Chervone, Gulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region came under fire. The Russians again shelled the city of Kherson and Antonivka.
Given the situation under Vugledar, the Russian military leadership is in a hurry to send reinforcements. Since March 13, the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th army of the Eastern Voivodeship has been conducting combat coordination of the "Storm" unit. It is being prepared for shipment to Ukraine on March 24. The brigade is significantly understaffed, so unit commanders are recalling subordinates for treatment and rehabilitation.
Military personnel complain about the low level of security. A very low level of personnel motivation and a large number of attempts to avoid being sent to the area of ​​hostilities are noted.
During the past 24 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 10 strikes on areas where the occupiers are concentrated. At the same time, the "Shakhed-136" UAV was shot down, and our rocket launchers and gunners hit seven areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment.
We will remind you that the occupiers have been actively trying to seize Ugledar since the fall . This city is important for them to continue their advance north.
