#9  It's a chickenshit way to fight a war but then, that's the way our elites are.

#8  So, a bunch of Western "elites" got together and asked each other, what can we say about Putin for today's newspropaganda cycle that will help to convince the rubes how evil he is?

It's like when they decide to raid Trump's house looking for "classified" documents. They don't care if they find anything or not. They don't care if Putin never goes to trial for these alleged crimes. That's not the point.

The point in both cases is to maintain an ever flowing stream of negative propaganda.

#7   Pretty much the definition of war crimes.

Do they mention International Red Cross inspectors?

#6  I think that's it right there @ 4.

#5  Steve, I can only take issue with 'high school'. Seems more to me like middle school, as in the insufferable little girl who got elected to the student council and plans to 'save the world'.

But conceptually I agree somewhere past 100%.

#4  Mean Girls diplomacy. It's like the whole world is turning into high school. Still, I suppose this is the next logical step after banning Putin from our table in the cafeteria.

Even more still, despite NATO's moist dream of regime change, the average Russian is going to see this as another example of Putin standing up to the West. Could the ICC look more petty and useless?

Unpacking the Daily Mail story we find:
The ICC's chief prosecutor Karim Khan said hundreds of Ukrainian children have been taken from orphanages and children's homes to Russia.

So those Russian bastards are evacuating orphans from places like Donetsk which is regularly shelled by Ukrainian artillery to somewhere outside the war zone. Pretty much the definition of war crimes. If we sell it right. Did I mention orphans?

#3  Alternate headline:

"Ukrainians outraged they can't use dead children as props!"
