#4  In WW2 the Allies considered a swap: German optics for Allied scarce raw materials (tungsten, rubber, etc.) ...then woke up and decided helping the Nazis was a Bad Ideaβ„’. Just because you have samples doesn't mean you can duplicate it in quantity.

Now figure out how it works, is programmed and then assemble your own version. That is reverse engineering.
