Gov. Hobbs responds to allegations of cartel bribery |
2023-03-01 |
[CBS 5] Gov. Kathy Hobbs on Tuesday criticized those who deny the election for holding parliamentary hearings last week that publicly vilified her and other elected officials.![]() It took her crack staff five days to come up with this carefully crafted 'defense'? These were the governor’s first public comments since Thursday’s joint election hearing went completely off the rails. During this hearing, the Scottsdale insurance agent was allowed to make unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud and bribery. She accused the governor and others on both sides of the aisle of being in the pockets of the Sinaloa cartel. Funny, I swear I saw some legal documents, deeds and suchlike, in the paperwork presented. Voter fraud seemed to be more of a sideshow. Yesterday's Hobbs-cartel article |

#2 Speaking of cartels and corruption, I tried yesterday to post an article about this lady's testimony to Congress for today's Rantburg but something must have gone wrong. I dunno, maybe the mods didn't like it and now I can't find it. So here's the story from Breitbart: Mom of 2 Fentanyl Victims to Congress: ‘You’re Welcoming Drug Dealers Across Our Border!’ From the Breitbart article, check out how Bennie Thompson attempts to hold border security hostage so he can get his so-called "immigration reform": Today, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, led Committee Democrats in calling out Republicans for holding another politically charged border security hearing to attack the Administration while ignoring the clear need for comprehensive immigration reform to address the situation at the border. IOW, Thompson doesn't give a rat's ass about kids dying from fentanyl. Gotta wonder how much the cartels are paying him. |

#1 As I remember, the Trump rule states that unsubstantiated innuendo must be investigated if the charges are serious. |
