Environmentalists Killed in Plane Crash
2023-02-23
[Twitchy] A plane heading to Columbus from Arkansas crashed Wednesday afternoon, killing all five people on board, authorities said.

The plane crashed a couple of miles south of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock. 10TV’s sister station KTHV reported that Emergency Communications was alerted at noon that a twin-engine crashed.

According to reports from the FAA, the plane, a Beech BE20, was departing from Clinton Airport heading to John Glenn International Airport with five people on board when the crash happened.

Those on board all worked for CTEH, an environmental consulting firm, and were going to help with the cleanup of an explosion at a metal manufacturing facility in Bedford, Ohio, CTEH said in a statement.
Investigation is on going. My Condolences to their families.

#9  Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport

I can only imagine the risk in that as Deacon's "final destination".

#6  Yes, CTEH wouldn't be considered environmentalists but environmental engineering professionals. They do things like design and make retention ponds, drainage systems, site monitoring and remediation, that sort of thing. While you do get some green nuts in those groups, they really are just engineering and geology types who like to work outside and get to go home almost every night. Unlike us oilfield types:p

#5  Title is misleading. The team was more of a hazardous materials team, not leftist environmentalist wac bykos.

#4  I have a degree in Environmental Design. It's about how to use things like sunlight, wind, air,, and shade to decrease heating and cooling costs in houses and buildings. It was part of my architectural degree. Not all environmentalism is about tree hugging and going green.

#3  Well at least they are carbon neutral now.

#2  Maybe its good marketing, but CTEH comes across as professional; not activist.
