[VIDMAXVIRAL] Russian Tank Convoy Rolls Right into a Ukrainian Mine Field, Bad Day Turns to Death Pretty Quick

Just going for a casual stroll in a neighboring country didn't end too well for these Ruskies. Watch as one after another their tanks and APCs get blown to bits by Ukrainian anti-tank mines.

#12  Wait til after the war when farmers start hitting them with their plows.

The US mines self destruct after a few hours to 4 days. Duds excepted. Still, Ukraine is now the most heavily mined country on earth.

#11  They're still digging up ordnance from WW1 in France.

#10  Those artillery drop antitank mines. They look small but pack 1.8 pounds (AFAICR) of explosives.

Wait til after the war when farmers start hitting them with their plows.

#9  Yes, but I think the US doesn't use antipersonnel mines anymore, command triggered Claymores excepted. Though not a signatory, the US abides by the spirit of the UN anti-mine pact.

#8  ^ you mix your mine field. Big ones laid for vehicles, smaller ones for personnel trying to clear out the big ones. You don't want to waste your big boomers on small targets.

#6  That link in #3 goes to the anti-personnel version. When searching images, linked to the wrong version. Should go to RAAMS link.

#4  /\ I saw a T-72 road wheel flying off. Likely not a 'air delivered' mine, but the re-laying of anti-tank mines concept is certainly valid.

#3  Part of it that the Russians think they already cleared the area. The Ukrainians are relaying mines in those lanes using artillery dropped mines. The US has sent thousands of these booby traps.

#1  Sometimes I really wonder if Russian vehicle crews actually have ANY training beyond how to drive. Cause it sure doesn't seem to be the case.
