Fighter jets fail to locate new 'airborne object' detected over Montana after military shut down airspace over 'radar anomaly' - hours after US F-22 shoots down 'small cylindrical object' over Canada
2023-02-12
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
And nobody saw them coming.
Time for some layoffs.

  • The FAA closed the airspace around Havre, Montana, for around an hour on Saturday night due to 'an object that could interfere with commercial air traffic'

  • An hour later, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said fighter jets had been scrambled for 'a radar anomaly', but nothing was found

  • At 3:41pm Eastern Time on Saturday, a U.S. F-22 shot down a 'small cylindrical object' flying over the Yukon, in a joint U.S.-Canadian operation

#2  When the 'Peace Dividend' was cashed in the the 90s, they did away with the interceptors on the coasts. That decision played out on 9/11 when nothing was really at hand to act. The one interceptor they sent up had no ammunition on it.

Same with budget priorities since. Local Air National Guard fighter units have been disappearing across the country. It's a little late to rebuild a fire department after you closed it down and stuff starts burning.

Air Defense missile sites have long been gone. Cause you know the Air Force will stop them long before they can get into the motherland.
