Report: San Francisco Considers Red Light District
2023-02-11

#12  With a Soros DA, every street is an environment for street walkers. A red light district will not impact the current quantity of Bay Area street hookers. There is no overhead required for the current business model. The John drives the venue to the transaction. Hookers don’t have capital and/or credit to rent SF overpriced locals. If they did, why would they rent a location when they make more money not having a room in a red lights district. If the city is providing the flop house, then the city becomes the trafficker.

Ultimately, enforcing vice laws is the only thing that changes the business model. There is currently no enforcement in SF. If there was, there would not be a street walker problem. Failure to enforce vice laws always gets you more vice.

#11  Democratic voters leave the urban ghetto and take their voting habits to the safety of surrounding suburbs.

Now woke biologists claim systemic racism is driving ANIMALS out of deprived areas as they ditching poor ethnic neighborhoods in favor of wealthier white districts

#10  I thought they already had City Hall as the de-facto 'red light district'.

#9  The Red Light districts have always been there. Now, the SF braint trust wants their cut of the action. It's just business.

#7  ^True - but it goes back all the way to the Barbary Coast. And then there are all the whores in Civic Center, past and present.

#5  In the 60's SF had several, Haight-Ashbury, Mission district and intersection Jones and Eddy streets.
Or so I've been told.

#4  Given the exotic diseases being incubated in the San Francisco miasma, a red light district will be more like a slow acting roach motel.

#3  /\ Urban crime centers are democratic incubators. Democratic voters leave the urban ghetto and take their voting habits to the safety of surrounding suburbs.

It's all part of the greater plan.

#2  ^ more about gentrification of what areas are available to people with money and land is scarce. The Dutch are generally tolerant but not stupid, thus not allowing the zombies take over their cities like Donks in America do.

#1  No sex and drugs please, this is Amsterdam! Locals welcome plan to clean up city's famous red light district by banning cannabis smoking outside and cutting back on sex shows and brothel opening hours (but the tourists aren't so pleased)
