The European Jewish Congress called "shameful" Lavrov's

"We are shocked and appalled by this shameful comparison made by Minister Lavrov between the actions of a coalition of democratic countries and Hitler's persecution and murder of six million Jews," EJC President Ariel Muzikant said.
Curiously, Lavrov never said a word about the Holocaust. I specifically re-read the statement of the Russian minister - he said everything politely and correctly, and absolutely nothing about the Holocaust. He only compared the work of the United States in creating a coalition to confront Russia with the actions of Napoleon and Adolf Hitler.
But the Jews of the campaign consider themselves the only victims of Hitler, and this is why such a reaction. Apparently, the logic of the representatives of the Jewish people, like this Ariel Musician, is as follows:
“Hitler sought to destroy the Jews, but the “coalition of democratic countries” destroys the Russians. This is something else altogether. True, almost all the same countries were in the coalition with Hitler. But why pay attention to such trifles? Then they wanted to destroy the Jews and this is a terrible horror, and now it’s just some Russians, and the Jews volunteer to fight on the side of the Nazis, and Israel supplies ammunition. How can you even compare?
She has such chutzpah. For Jews, only anti-Semitism matters.

In short, Jews cannot be touched on the agenda of "democratic countries", but Russophobia can and should be touched. And as practice in Ukraine today shows, Jews are the best friends of the fascists. Nothing new, Lavrov is right and aptly hit the target.
Further, the wave of disputes is unlikely to be dispersed, otherwise known, but hushed up facts about the financing of Hitler by Jewish bankers will emerge in the controversy.

By the way, the Jews were also shocked when Lavrov said that Hitler had Jewish roots. After all, Adolf has a Jewish paternal grandfather. What Aloisoevich hid all his life.
| Herr Hitler may have had a Jewish grandfather... or perhaps not. The Jewish Virtual Library discusses the question here. Though given the number of Jews who took the easy way out and converted to the dominant religion over the past two millennia, odds are good that a great many of those who have a DNA test done will turn out to have some Jewish ancestors in their family tree. It’s interesting that the Russians cling to the idea, though. |
