[HODHODYEMENNEWS] A senior military commander of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia was killed on Wednesday along with his lover companions in a kaboom in Abyan

Local sources said that an improvised bomb (IED) went kaboom! and targeted a military vehicle carrying the commander Abdul Rahim al-Makar and six of his escorts, while passing through Wadi Omran in Mudiyah district.

The STC accused al-Qaeda of being behind the liquidations of its members in the districts of Abyan, in cooperation and coordination with elements of the Islah Party in the province.
