Fortunately this happened in Texas. There might be justice. If it happened in neighboring New Mexico, the perp would only face about 3 years for using a automobile rather than any other weapon to kill.

Why would it be cruel and unusual punishment to execute her the same way she murdered the mother?
It was not cruel and unusual to her, having used it herself.
