A military source from the government 17th division told North Press, "An IED was planted in an unpaved road near an outpost of the government forces in al-Mayadin desert, 40km east of Deir ez-Zor city. It went

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the earth-shattering kaboom killed two soldiers from the 17th division, destroyed logistics and damaged the vehicle.
The government forces deployed troops at the blast site in a bid to search and find the perpetrators.
