| ‘Over 400 attacks prevented’ by IDF West Bank ops |

| [IsraelTimes] IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi referred to the IDF’s regular raids in the West Bank, saying hundreds of attacks have been prevented as a result of military operations. "Unfortunately, we are unable to prevent all attacks. On a personal level it causes great pain and on a professional level, it’s a failure," Kohavi said. "Over the past year, we prevented over 400 attacks together with the Shin Bet and the security forces, which allows the citizens of the country to live in peace and get stuck in traffic jams. This is a sign of a healthy society," Kohavi said. The military said Wednesday morning that it had detained 15 people in overnight raids in the West Bank and seized a number of weapons. |
