[REGNUM] There have been several explosions and shootings in Afghanistan in recent months.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced the assassination attempt on the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul and said he demanded "immediate investigation and arrest of those responsible for this heinous incident."
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the attack on the embassy in Kabul and called for an "immediate and full investigation".
The Foreign Ministry called on the Taliban government to "immediately conduct a full investigation, arrest and prosecute those responsible for the attack, and take immediate measures to ensure the safety of diplomatic personnel and Pakistani citizens in Afghanistan."
During the incident, the ambassador's bodyguard was "seriously wounded".
The Taliban condemned the attack on the Pakistani embassy and said they would not allow “hostile individuals to encroach on the security of foreign missions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban government (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) said that an "immediate investigation" was launched into the attack.
Khalid Zadran, a spokesman for the Kabul police, tweeted that the Taliban had arrested a suspect in today's attack on the Pakistani embassy in Kabul.
Zadran wrote that after shooting “from the building” towards the Pakistani embassy in the Karte Parvan area, Taliban security forces (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) “promptly” arrived in the area and “stopped further shooting, arrested the suspect and seized he has two weapons."
ATTACK ON HEKMATYAR
Also in Kabul, the office of the Islamic Party of Afghanistan (IPA), headed by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, was attacked.
Hekmatyar, a few hours after the attack, reported that the office of the party was attacked by two suicide bombers in women's veils.
He said that as a result of the shooting opened by the attackers, one person was killed and two wounded from among the people who dispersed after praying.
According to Hekmatyar, the suicide bombers were killed before they reached their target.
During Friday prayers, gunmen reportedly attacked a mosque located at the IPA headquarters in Dar ul-Aman, in the 6th security district of Kabul city.
According to sources, the attackers arrived in a car and opened fire on the believers.
The IPA released a statement saying that Hekmatyar and other members of the party's leadership were not injured in the attack.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
In recent months, there have been several explosions and shootings in Afghanistan, a number of which have been claimed by Velayat Khorasan (an organization banned in the Russian Federation) (an affiliate of IS in Afghanistan and Pakistan).

The statement was made public on Saturday, the Khaama informed.
Al Jazeera reported, citing a Pak embassy official, that the attacker "came behind the cover of houses and started firing" in the embassy compound.
Nizamani travelled to Kabul last month to take up his position at one of the few embassies that has continued to function since the Taliban seized power in August 2021.

The shots hit a security guard, identified as Sepoy Israr Mohammad, who was "critically injured" while attempting to save Nizamani, according to the FO.
