#11 Late term abortion? Who decides whom is mentally ill? With the way government has been weaponized against its enemies (ad hoc definitions, mentally ill for example) this gets very dystopian and downright scary for a society. |

#2 LOGIC PLEASE? It’s expensive and labout-intensive to treat chronic illness, whether mental or physical. Last I heard, Canada allows only doctors working for whatever they call their National Health Service, so the government has to pay for all that. It’s easier and cheaper to out a little extra pressure on those already unstable, encouraging them to end the need for treatment. |
