Claims of the worst Flu outbreak

Well, I guess DC needs a deflection, or the media needs some clickbait.

So far, the 2022-2023 flu season has had 6 Million cases with 3,000 claimed deaths. Which is a 0.05% vs infection claimed death rate.

While the 2018-2019 season had an estimated 29 million flu cases, and 28,000 flu deaths (0.096%), which was 93.09% Higher.

#1  Because there were 0 deaths, or even cases, 2020-2021, they have to go to 2018-2019 to do a percentage.
