| #3 Do you really believe only Kurdish Iranian resent living in a totalitarian Muslim state, Aca Joe? This is the second or third time in recent years that Iran has been riven by mass protests, and most of the protesters have been Medes and Persians, not Kurds. Iran’s under-25s are well educated but massively underemployed, heavily using drugs to kill time and the women prostituting themselves just to make a little money because the Mad Mullahs’ government has been under international sanctions for exporting their Muslim revolution since shortly after they overthrew the Shah in 1979. They aren't just living worse than their parents, but their parents have been living worse than their own parents, and the kids are highly aware of the fact, having watched Mom sell off the family treasures bit by bit over the years to put some food on the table.
