| #6 Here in the Houston area there's 1-2 defensive shootings a week. Even the Harris County prosecutors won't dare to charge them because the grand juries will no bill it. |

| #5 "When seconds count, police are minutes away." Police response times in my area run around 15 to 20 mins, and most of us do own or carry for self-protection. But! Looking at this in a slightly different manner. Couldn't this mean, with the LSD's agenda goal of "Defunding Local Police", coupled with the LSD's trying to ban private firearm ownership. That they want the criminal element to succeed in doing us in harm for a greater goal? Do I hear distant cries for a Nationally (DC controlled) Police force in the makings? |

| #4 Wild West? People had been carrying for years. With or without carry laws. I suspect the number reported is much higher as many who carry will not disclose it. |
