| #3 Progressivism is just another form of totalitarianism, all dolled up. It never ends well. It did not work in the Thousand Year Reich, or the USSR. Of course, it is still around in places like Cuba, Venezuela and NKor, but none of them are exactly drawing crowds. OF course, it is trying to emerge here, but that's neither a fait accompli nor any more likely to succeed long-term if it does emerge here. I'm still betting against it, long-term. |

| #2 Two problems - progressivism has been a rotting course since Woodrow Wilson’s presidency. Bernie may have damaged the movement but is too young to have made it into the zombie that it continues to be. Secondly, AOC is totally prefabricated. Saying that she sold out is like berating the Monkees for betraying their musical roots or complaining about the commercialization of Scooby Doo. |
