| [Breitbart] On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s "Morning Joe," Washington Post columnist David Ignatius reacted to the State Department backing immunity for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman from a lawsuit over the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi by stating that "it’s disturbing that it’s the Biden administration that ends up doing what Donald Trump himself wouldn’t do." And "humiliating for Biden" to seek support from MBS and get rejected on oil and then to make this move on top of it. Emphasis added. |

| #7 Mohammed bin Salman is the head of a sovereign state. As such, I think he is out of the scope of US prosecution anyway (aside from the delusions of grandeur that seem to characterize the current administration.) Also, the Saudis are an extremely proud and sensitive people (imho they have nothing to be proud about, but they are) who will see this as nothing but a patronizing insult. |

| #3 Jamal Khashoggi was not our friend. For that matter MBS isn't our friend either. But, Khashoggi is dead and MBS has deep pockets and ole Joe is a pragmatic man. |
