[Vesti] The Armed Forces of Ukraine beat back dozens of Russian attacks in Bakhmut and Soledar in a day. This was announced on Sunday, November 6, by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar.
"The epicenter of events this week, as we see, is Bakhmut, Soledar and the Donetsk direction in general, where the enemy sometimes carries out dozens of attacks in a day, which we repulse," she said.
According to the deputy minister, in the Donetsk direction, in fact, there is a mutual movement of both sides.
"If the enemy manages to move forward a little and occupy some settlements, there is an instant reaction from the defense forces of Ukraine, and we instantly return all the territories," Malyar said.
She stressed that the main thing is that Ukraine does not rent a single centimeter of land.
"But the process that is happening now is active hostilities, the enemy is trying to reach the borders of the Donetsk region, so fierce battles continue there. A very difficult defense is now going on there," Malyar explained.
She added that now on the fronts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine they are preparing to liberate the occupied territories and consolidate on the already liberated ones.
"Stabilization measures are ongoing there. Now, in fact, this is the main task," the Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized.
