The collective West supported the glorification of the Nazis and neo-Nazis

After reading this news, at first I did not even believe in it.

Yesterday, at a meeting of the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly, the traditional annual vote on a resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism came.

We are used to the fact that, just as traditionally, two countries that support fascism, such as the United States (support neo-Nazism in other countries) and Ukraine, oppose this resolution ( support fascism and nvtsizm at home). They are on the map in red.

And until 2014, from the very first resolution in 2005, only the United States voted against it.

But now the blue on the map has also become red !!! EVERYONE who previously abstained, clearly as one went over to support the Nazis!

This time, for the first time, such countries as Italy, Austria, Germany opposed the resolution...

The draft resolution was also not supported by Britain, France, Japan, Italy, Georgia, Moldova, the Baltic countries, Hungary, Canada, Australia, Japan...

"The representatives of Germany, Italy and Austria swore to us that they would never be able to vote against a document condemning the glorification of Nazism. But, apparently, political considerations took over," said Grigory Lukyantsev, Deputy Director of the Department for Humanitarian Cooperation and Human Rights of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

When history is erased, it repeats itself. For those who erased it.

Nazism in Europe is raising its head and is gradually being legalized, so everything is logical. Almost all the brown company of a hundred years ago has gathered, and the rest of the little things will soon catch up.

In total, 106 countries voted FOR the document, 15 abstained, 51 countries voted against (the bulk are the EU countries, 27 countries).

Here it is the real alignment in the UN against Nazism and the countries that support it - NATO, the USA, Ukraine, which they signed in public and at the highest level. But the rest of the free world opposed it! The world was divided into the army of the devil (the collective West) and the army of God.

Now, after the approval of the committee, a vote on the resolution in the UN General Assembly must take place, usually this takes place in December.
Perhaps the world has noticed that this resolution is merely a Russian propaganda exercise to justify attacks on ehat it leases them to call Nazi Ukrainians. How it must gall that so much of the world sees through that particular ploy, regardless how otherwise their sympathies might be engaged.

#56  Biden’s such a liar, even when he corrects his earlier lies he tells new lies.

Peter Baker of NYT:
“Inflation is a worldwide problem right now because of a war in Iraq and the impact on oil and what Russia is doing,” Biden told a crowd during a speech before heading to Miami for an evening campaign rally with Democratic candidates. He quickly caught his own mistake. “Excuse me,” he said, “the war in Ukraine.”

But as he tried to explain how he mixed up the two wars, he told the audience, “I think of Iraq because that’s where my son died.” In fact, Beau Biden, a military lawyer in the Delaware Army National Guard, died of brain cancer in the United States in 2015.

#51  Sachs privatization program allowed the wholesale rape of the Russian economy to the benefit of the few connected oligarchs and politicians. Of course the Russian elite were going to take advantage of "Shock Therapy" privatization. Sachs was swimming in a school of piranhas who saw red meat. His "advice" did more damage to Russia than anything since WW2.

#50  Oh stop. Just stop already with the BS about “changing names.”

I worked with Sachs in Poland and Russia in the early 1990s. What we recommended for Poland to the US govt, we recommended for Russia. It was those anti-Russian neocon zealots who rejected our Russian recommendations and caused so much chaos, destruction and misery for ordinary Russians in the 1990s.

#49  Changing names won't save you. Jeffrey Sachs is a long known Russian pawn and no has any pull except with the far left. Russia has no no prospect of freezing this war. Best that Russia can be hope for is a Napoleonic Retreat back to Moscow.

Biden’s Foreign Policy Sinking His Party & Ukraine
November 2, 2022

Jeffrey D. Sachs says the U.S. president’s dismissal of diplomacy undermines his own party, prolongs the destruction of Ukraine and threatens nuclear war.

BY JEFFREY D. SACHS

“President Joe Biden is undermining his party’s congressional prospects through a deeply flawed foreign policy.

“Biden believes that America’s global reputation is at stake in the Ukraine War and has consistently rejected a diplomatic off-ramp. The Ukraine War, combined with the administration’s disruptions of economic relations with China, is aggravating the stagflation that will likely deliver one or both houses of Congress to the Republicans.

“Far worse, Biden’s dismissal of diplomacy prolongs the destruction of Ukraine and threatens nuclear war. …”

#47  Look, buddy, Ukraine’s problem’s are not America’s problems. I don’t wish any Ukrainian ill.

But we’ve had it with neocon globalists dragging us into shitholes where we have nothing at stake. Ukraine does not affect my or any American’s freedom or security in the slightest.

It’s just not our problem, and we want the thievery and plundering of our treasury to STOP.

It stops Tuesday night. Have a good life. Bye bye.

1 Respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.

2 Refrain from the threat or the use of force against the signatory.

3 Refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by the signatory of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.

4 Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to the signatory if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used".

5 Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against the signatory.

6 Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments.

#40  Your concern for American politics is so sweet Boris. It warms my heart that you admit the truth that Russia's fate is decided in America.

Here is the scoop. Americans don't care about Russia and prefer to ignore you. For Americans, Russia is within the noise level of world affairs except when you are acting out and causing problems for the neighbors and the world. Then it is mostly the Republicans, with conservative Democrats, that end up knocking sense into Russian heads.

Republican voters' values haven't changed. This election is about Democrat and Independent voters realizing the Democratic party leadership is heading toward full blown socialism with fascist and communist tendencies and they don't like it.

You vainly hope the party that rejects fascism to show accommodation to a real fascist dictatorship when in control of the House and Senate? Not in this universe. Expect more pain meted out by Ukrainians with more and better weapons as the US and EU further strangle the Russian economy. Leave Ukraine now before Russia is broken apart. Again.

“Ukrania” can and should be independent. Independent of NATO.

And neutral. That was the whole point of Minsk: Austria-style status for Ukraine— not aligned with Russia or NATO, de-fanged and demilitarized ie purged of Azov, Right Sector and the other Nazi scum who bullied Zelensky and brutalized and poisoned Ukrainian politics.

Independence from NATO’s neocon fools (and from their own homegrown Nazis) is precisely what the liberal Globalists cannot tolerate. Everyone, everywhere, must submit to their perverted sick left-lib agenda. Ukraine has been used and is about to be discarded just like the Afghans, Iraqis and South Vietnamese.

Another Yevgeny Prigozhin enterprise whose mission is to point fingers at everyone and accuse them of being Nazis, when it they who are the Nazis.

The Internet Research Agency (IRA; Russian: Агентство интернет-исследований, romanized: Agentstvo internet-issledovaniy), also known as Glavset (Russian: Главсеть)[1] and known in Russian Internet slang as the Trolls from Olgino (Russian: ольгинские тролли), is a Russian company engaged in online propaganda and influence operations on behalf of Russian business and political interests.[2] It is linked to Russian oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin and based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Unfortunately, Wagner is entwined in the highest power structure of Putin's Russia and Wagner's owner, convict Yevgeny Prigozhin, is a favorite to succeed Putin and wants the job. Scary thought having full blown Nazis ruling an already Fascist Russian imperium.

#20  I'd concede Howe acted the French agent.

Elensky went straight to the well, a well owned by people needing, wanting a war, and an established power interest already intact.

France didn't have that in the colonies, especially after French/Indian war. Our emissaries had to beg like dogs to simply talk to people who would talk to people. Nous somme ici is great for newspapers but France had her own problems and no need to her territories to get strange ideas of independence and so couldn't act until it was all in the bag.

#15  We have here both those who genuinely admire Russia, believing it to have been forced to this fight, and both paid and volunteer trolls. The difference between thoughtful argument and cut’n’paste from a list becomes obvious fairly quickly. Ditto for the genuine versus troll partisans for Ukraine.

Every single living Russian has at least several ancestors who were killed by German Nazis. In Ukraine it was German and home-grown Ukrainian Nazis doing the killing.

What, even the Siberians? I thought the Nazi German army did not get as far as Moscow. But we have serious students of Russian/Soviet military history here, so I’ll leave it to them to get into the details. I am a dilettante on that subject as I am on many others. Even in mathematics I only got as far as 3-D irregular topography, discovering the hard way that I am only a high-functioning non-math person, despite my pleasure in the subject up to that point. Which answers the question you raised the other day about my math abilities, Palermo.

Now let us speak of the impact of Stalin’s Great Famine, the Holodomor that resulted from the forced collectivization and unrealistic grain production targets of the early 1930s — the still unknown number between three and eight million Ukrainians who died or were deliberately murdered by the Soviets before Nazi Germany invaded.

When all of you screaming about Ukrainian Nazis finally address the fact that the Ukrainians had a legitimate reason to reach out for help from any quarter in order to stop Soviet Russian mass murder, then we’ll be able to have a fruitful discussion. When the screamers admit that the white supremacists in Ukraine underwent training in Russia with their friends among the Russian white supremacists right up until the Russian army came across the border early this year — the St. Petersburg lot even had courses taught by the FSB — then the log in the Russian eye will be seen to be as large as the log in Ukraine’s. There are no motes in that part of the world.

Ukraine is not going to remain sovereign

Before this, Ukraine’s population was well below replacement — something like 1.25. So was Russia’s, though very slightly less so at something like 1.3. So is China’s, incidentally, at a claimed 1.7 (though it’s probably lower).

Replacement is generally held to be 2.1. Looking at the trends, I would not be surprised to end up mourning the disappearance of Ukraine and the retreat of Russia from world affairs, followed a few years later by China ditto. Very different
than the trends in India, where the reported fertility rate is 2.2.

#11  My point, Palermo, was, that those Nazis are now dead. Faded into history. And to kill somebody who's in our way, we don't really need to recognise him as a Nazi.

The Zelensky regime is but a pawn for the globalists. Stomping it is a strategic victory for all sovereign nations. No, Ukraine is not going to remain sovereign, remember it has already expressed a desire to be another EU protectorate. So stomping it is okay. Nazi or no Nazi.

I fully understand why Russians are spouting 'nazi nazi' all over the place while warring. Hell, we find our deplorable selves 'nazified' sometimes. Word doesn't mean a tenth of what it did in the last century.

#1  Looks like the Russians are aligned with the US State Department, the Pentagon and Congress, all of whom officially denounced Ukraine’s “neo-Nazi Azov Battallion” between June 2015 and late 2021.

June 2015: June 15, 2015, Representative John Conyers of Michigan and dozens of other Congressmen seek to amend the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2016 by inserting this language: “None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to provide arms, training, or other assistance to the Azov Battalion.

Conyers explains: “This amendment that I propose this evening limits arms, training, and other assistance to the neo-Nazi Ukrainian militia, the Azov Battalion…I urge the support of my amendment and to make it US law that we will not equip this dangerous neo-Nazi militia.

Similar anti-Azov language was included in the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2018.

Both Jamie Raskin and Democrat Ro Khanna supported it. Khanna declared, “I am very pleased that the recently passed omnibus prevents the US from providing arms and training assistance to the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion fighting in Ukraine. White supremacy and neo-Nazism are unacceptable and have no place in our world.”

Jamie Raskin and other Congressmen submitted a letter to Secretary Mike Pompeo October 16, 2019, seeking to have the Azov Battalion declared a Foreign Terrorist Organization, or FTO. “There are numerous examples of foreign white nationalist groups that fit these conditions…. The American people deserve an explanation as to why these groups are not included on the Foreign Terrorist organization (FTO) list.

For example, the Azov Battalion is a well-known ultranationalist militia organization in Ukraine that openly welcomes neo-Nazis into its ranks. The group is so well-known, in fact, that the 115th Congress of the United States stated in its 2018 omnibus spending bill that ‘none of the funds made available by this act may be used to provide arms, training or other assistance to the Azov Battalion.’”

In 2021, these same congressmen voted in favor of the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2022 which extended the prohibitions regarding Azov.
